What other costs?

What other costs can you expect when you have a website? There is a yearly cost for your domain name, the address of your website and you web hosting, the place where your website is stored on the internet.

Domain Name Registration

We encourage our clients to keep ownership of their own domain names. We can help you choose and buy one. It will cost you anywhere between $20 and $45 NZD depending on where you get it from and what the domain name is. This is a annual fee.

Website Hosting

Before a website can go live the world it needs a 'home' on a special computer called a server which is online 24/7. This is called web hosting. Hosting with Avoca Design starts at $24.95/month for CMS sites. See the web hosting page for more information
